SAGGA Scout And Guide Graduate Association

SAGGA is a national association providing skilled service to Scouting and Guiding. Started in 1957 as the Scout and Guide Graduate Association by a group of former student Scouts and Guides, SAGGA now has over 250 members in both the UK and overseas.

Aims SAGGA's aims are

• To provide service to the Scout and Guide Movements.
• To enable its members to use their skills in giving service.
• To promote Scout and Guide co-operation.
• To maintain communication between SAGGA and other related organisations.
• To encourage equal opportunities in the Scout and Guide Movements.

SASU SAGGA is a national Scout Active Support Unit

Although SAGGA is a SASU, it also has very close links to the Guide Association, providing equal support to both associations.

Framework SAGGA provides a framework

SAGGA provides a framework for its members to support the aims of the Scout and Guide Associations. This framework lets them choose what to do: building up skills and experiences, trying something new or joining in activities such as camping, winter walking, sailing and crafts.

Meetings SAGGA Meets locally and nationally

Groups decide their own programme, so a wide range of activities take place each year throught the country and members are welcome to join in any of these activities.

Service SAGGA provides service to Scouting and Guiding
